Do you ever think about how different the world is now as opposed to before? So much has changed in ways that can't be compared to past generations, and the change has happened so quickly. The 90s and early 2000s isn't that long ago in history, but it feels like a different universe because of the differences in our lives. The invention of smart phones changed so much. We can spend days upon days alone in our apartments and never wanna see the sun. In a way, it can be really interesting to notice and analyze those changes. And in a different way, we know the world will never be the same again. 

Bed rotting is a new term that implies the person is spending hours at a time in their bed just doom scrolling. When the weekend comes, it can be even more tantalizing and take up those two sacred days of the week. It's like indolence to the max, and that's exactly why we're bringing the most indolent animal to the front and center here: sloths. Yes, sloths are well known for their laziness and their immense bed rotting abilities. They love to stay in bed (or a tree) and just sleep or stare into space.   • Sometimes I feel like if I was an animal I'd be a sloth. They're honestly so cute but lazy. Raccoons are known to be thieves, staying up all night, sneaking trash from garbage bins and looking for food to steal. But there's a sense of laziness there too. Raccoons are more like sloths than people think, and it's not only because they are both black and grey colors. They both have something indolent about them that makes them two of the funniest animals out there. They both have hilarious stereotypes and they will forever be immortalized on the internet for one reason or another.
